Winning the Fight Against PTSD with Hypnosis

Good people sometimes go thru extreme situations and handle the aftermath the best they can. Sometimes “the best they can” still leads to pain and suffering both for the person who survived and for the people who love him or her.

Our subconscious mind wants us to learn lessons and develop understandings from every challenge in life. But some memories are so painful, we don’t want to think about them. The subconscious responds to our stubbornness by doing things to get our attention. Our subconscious may give us dreams that we call “nightmares”. Or it may give us peculiar behaviors or thoughts. Our subconscious does these things in an attempt to get us to learn the lessons we haven’t yet learned. Some people respond to their subconscious mind in very dire ways. Up to and including suicide.

It doesn’t have to be that way. The person dealing with the symptoms of PTSD can find peace and “normalcy” in a surprisingly short period of time.

The Process We Use for PTSD

Step One. Remove “old emotional baggage”

We all have emotions “running in the background”, taking up resources. Those emotions probably made perfect sense back when they were created, but no longer serve us. We want to release those old emotions so we can reclaim that energy to use toward accomplishing our goals in life. This one process makes the client feel stronger and at peace. It’s advertised as “Lose 10 pounds in one hour”, because the client feels so much lighter and freer after this process. Now that we have reclaimed all these resources, and the client feels much stronger, it’s time for…

Step Two. Give meaning to what happened

We can survive horrific circumstances.
Terrible things can happen to and around us, and we come out “ok”. Now it’s time to make sense of what happened. To learn the lessons our subconscious mind demands we learn. Once we give meaning to what happened, we can release the emotions tied up in the memory. Once we have learned the lessons, our subconscious no longer feels the need to give us “those dreams” or “those thoughts”.

Frequently Asked Questions!

What if I can't be hypnotized?

Of course you can be hypnotized. You already put yourself into hypnosis several times a day, every day.

The real question is, will you allow me to lead you into hypnosis, this time. The level of trance required for this is little more than a really vivid daydream.

Z

How soon should I expect to see results?

You should feel a sense of peace after your first session. Others have reported the “nightmares” have stopped after your first session.

Hypnotherapy sessions can help you to identify the underlying reasons for your stress and anxiety.

You might discover that something in your past… an event, a physical condition, or a personal relationship is causing stress and anxiety levels that are impacting your life.

Hypnotherapy for stress, anxiety, panic disorders, and insomnia can start helping right away but several sessions are best for a long term solution.

After attending several hypnosis sessions you may start to develop confidence and be more relaxed in the way you deal with and manage events and situations in your life…
